Our Trochtelfingen nursing home is located between Reutlingen and Sigmaringen. The local recreation area "Grafental" is right on the doorstep and the small town is only a few minutes' walk away. Here we offer our guests and residents a place where they can arrive and be at home in old age.

A house of encounter

We have been running our house in Trochtelfingen since 2004. When designing the house, we attached great importance to creating meeting spaces for our residents, spaces in between and contact spaces: for people-to-people encounters.

Relax and be active

We want to encourage and challenge, stimulate and relax our clients. For this purpose, we have developed our own concept at Sonnenhalde, with which we try to create a good balance between rest and movement: In Trochtelfingen, for example, this can mean that we organise a carriage ride for our residents: All those who feel like it come along, and the rest make themselves comfortable on the sofa.

Rooms for people

In Trochtelfingen, too, we have realised a room concept that is completely tailored to the individual needs of our residents: In addition to a colour concept for the different floors, we accompany our clients through the day according to their needs and possibilities.

Protected dementia area

Especially for residents suffering from dementia, we offer them a place in our sheltered area in our house. There they are cared for individually and can move around freely. This area is also combined with a separate outdoor area.
